Askkin
A resident of the Faktice parties in Nantes from 2012 to 2016, Askkin found his true creative home in Brussels to express his universe.
Askkin seems steadfast on his path and is reviving Faktice as a label, marking the birth of a space for freedom and sonic innovation that has quickly garnered the attention of some of Europe’s most discerning DJs on the scene.
As a producer, Askkin’s versatile productions traverse a broad spectrum of techno, reflecting both his technical prowess and artistic range. He has contributed to some of the most respected labels in the scene, including TWND, Nali, Maison Close, Roomtrax, and Nechto.
In 2024, Askkin composed the 37th installment of the Room Trax label series, showcasing his signature style through three innovative, groove-laden tracks. With a deep reverence for old-school rhythms, his productions are intricate, pulsating, and layered with futuristic soundscapes.
Askkin’s latest EP ‘NECH027' marks his debut on Nastia’s NECHTO imprint and is a testament to his ability to blend introspective and uplifting moments, seamlessly merging light and dark elements while maintaining an infectious groove and dynamic energy.
With more releases on the horizon, Askkin continues to evolve his sound, expanding his catalog and pushing boundaries with each new project.
His ever-growing journey has led him to play at some of Europe’s most renowned clubs, such as Fuse, RSO, Machine du Moulin Rouge, and Rote Sonne.
